Deupree Meals On Wheels is committed to excellence in delivering healthy meals delivered directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Hamilton County. In addition to regularly providing healthy foods, caring drivers and volunteers provide social connection that helps meal recipients remain living independently in their own homes. Our goal is to help people stay independent for as long as possible.
Whether you want the convenience of healthy and ready-to-eat meals delivered to your home, or are unable to prepare nutritious meals for yourself, you can receive meals from Meals On Wheels! Meals are available both on a long-term basis and temporarily if you are recovering from surgery or illness.

Deupree Meals On Wheels aims to build community by engaging people to help each other meet daily essential needs. Whether you have only a few hours one day a week or can volunteer more days, your assistance is much needed! Become a Meals On Wheels volunteer today and help support our vision that no senior goes hungry or experiences social isolation.
Volunteers deliver hot or and frozen, nutritious meals to the homes of five to eight homebound elderly or disabled clients who can no longer prepare balanced meals for themselves.
The first steps to become a Meals On Wheels volunteer include:
Anyone can deliver meals, and it’s a great volunteer opportunity for families and teams of employees, as well.
Another reason delivering meals is a great volunteer opportunity: You can do it with your kids! In fact, we encourage volunteer drivers to bring their children or grandchildren along. Delivering meals as a family is an excellent way to teach children about community responsibility and empower them to make a difference in their communities.
Delivering meals with your co-workers is a great way to connect with others and make an immediate difference in the community. It’s also a great team-building opportunity to connect current employees with retired employees who still volunteer.
Starting a Workplace Delivery Team is an easy-to-implement corporate volunteer opportunity for you and your company to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and those with disabilities in your community. If you have 8 people on your volunteer team, you can arrange to deliver either once a month in pairs or once every other month as individuals. Remember — it only takes one hour to complete a delivery!
