Deupree House - Living Well for Seniors

At Deupree House, we provide the options and you make the choices. Enriched Living Services provide options for residents who may prefer some support that enables them to fully enjoy their independent lifestyle.

These services range from extra housekeeping or laundry services to regular medication reminders and enhanced dining options. Our Enriched Living packages have been designed to provide the best value for the majority of our residents. Services are also available for those who may only need intermittent support.

Services and amenities include:

The Hospitality Package

  • Three meals per day (including continental breakfast, lunch and dinner) that may be delivered to your apartment.
  • A daily afternoon and/or evening snack
  • Daily trash removal
  • Weekly bed linen changes
  • Additional housekeeping
  • Weekly laundering of linens and towels
  • Bed-making assistance as needed
  • Enrollment in the Extended Family Program

For Example:

Mrs. Smith has lived at Deupree House for four years. She started to find it difficult to prepare meals and keep up with housework. This was affecting her health as her stress levels started to increase and her diet deteriorated.

After talking with Service Coordinator, Michelle Cole about the Enriched Living Services at Deupree House, Mrs. Smith decided the Hospitality Package would make her life a lot easier.

That was all it took to give her a great sense of relief. Now, she is back to relaxing in the Fitness Zone and playing bridge – two of her favorite past times.

The Health Services Package

  • A daily check-in by a staff member
  • Up to one hour of daily assistance from a Resident Assistant*
  • Medication reminders
  • Technology-enabled communication with a Resident Assistant
  • Professional assessment and care planning

* Resident Assistant services provide by Home Care Assistance

Services requiring a licensed nurse are also offered for an additional fee.

For Example:

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have enjoyed the last six years spent at the Deupree serving on committees and enjoying friends. But lately Mrs. Johnson has noticed her husband sometimes forgets to take his medications, including his insulin and blood pressure medicine. With their busy schedules, Mrs. Johnson is not always around to make sure Mr. Johnson takes his medicine.

The Johnsons decided to use the medication reminder service from the Health Services Package. Now, with a Resident Assistant’s regular calls, Mr. Johnson takes his medications on time. And if needs change, they can add services or select the entire package.
