According to the Institute for Dementia Research & Prevention, there are at least 5 million individuals in the U.S. with age-related dementia types. These numbers will only continue to rise with the aging of the U.S. population. It is estimated that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 10 men older than 55 will develop dementia.

Episcopal Retirement Services provides person-centered dementia care, and we’re here as your resource. We designed this Dementia Guide for professionals—financial planners, attorneys, medical professionals, social workers and others who are working closely with individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia alongside their families.
