LOUISVILLE, KY — [September 14, 2026] — Episcopal Retirement Services (ERS) is proud to share that Beverly Edwards, Vice President of Residential Healthcare, was recognized for her leadership in aging services by Louisville Business First as a 40 Under 40 alumni.

In her role at ERS and as the newly appointed board chair of LeadingAge Kentucky, Beverly exemplifies thoughtful advocacy, seasoned leadership, and a deep commitment to person-centered aging services. Beverly brings decades of experience and a passion for enriching the lives of older adults to the ERS family, most notably Episcopal Church Home (ECH) in Louisville, Kentucky.

Beverly joined ERS in 2016, quickly demonstrating her aptitude for leadership through her selection for the ERS ASPIRE leadership program—a platform designed to cultivate high-potential leaders within the organization. Her impressive contributions began at Louisville’s Episcopal Church Home (ECH), where she served as Executive Director and later Senior Executive Director. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in turning around ECH’s financial performance and guiding a comprehensive campus master planning process, both of which have had a lasting impact on the community.

Over the years, Beverly has broadened her reach to encompass ERS' Cincinnati communities, Marjorie P. Lee and Deupree House, honing her operational expertise across the organization’s award-winning communities. In her role as Vice President of Residential Healthcare, she drives strategic and operational leadership across all three ERS communities while also serving as the organization's corporate risk manager. Now, as board chair of LeadingAge Kentucky, Beverly leverages her experience and leadership to advocate for innovation and high-quality care for older adults across the commonwealth.

Beverly holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Jackson State University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Sullivan University—a strong foundation that has guided her work across every role she's held.

Her commitment extends well beyond her day-to-day leadership. Since 2015, she has served on the Board of Directors for Children Have Options In Choosing Experiences, currently holding the position of Secretary. And her influence hasn't gone unnoticed—Louisville Business First recognized Beverly among the "20 People to Know in Aging Services" and named her to the "Forty Under 40" Class of 2018.
