Since 1951, Episcopal Retirement
Homes has cared for older adults in southern Ohio. To continue
our long tradition of improving older adults’ lives
and to meet future residents’ needs, ERH is pursuing
two exciting development projects at both the Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Community
and Deupree House in Cincinnati.

Marjorie
P. Lee Retirement Community
Located
in the heart of Hyde Park, Marjorie P. Lee is home to nearly
200 residents, 60 percent of whom have lived in the neighborhood
their entire lives. To continue providing a first-class retirement
community for older adults, ERH is adding state-of-the-art
services and amenities to the campus. Zoning for development
was approved in May 2003.
The $11.5 million project reflects ERH’s
wellness philosophy and the need to meet the demands of older
adults seeking retirement communities. It will feature:

Deupree
House
Deupree House recently expanded its campus to include 60 new apartments, a new state-of-the-art wellness center and enhanced dining room.
Now, Episcopal Retirement Homes is reinventing how seniors will receive health care services with Deupree Cottages -- two, 12-person households for those who require 24-hour supportive care.
Seniors will live together in a small, intimate household, where individual preferences and needs are honored by abandoning traditional schedules and routines. The distinguishing characteristic between these loving households and a traditional nursing home is the fact that those who live there direct their own lives, individually and collectively. The staff is there to provide the necessary resources and assistance to accomplish seniors' needs and desires. As a result, the feeling of ease, contentment and the sanctuary of home defines life... on their terms.
Located on 2.1 acres on the Deupree campus (3939 Erie Ave., Cincinnati), Deupree Cottages is scheduled to open in 2009.
